Integration guides
When a booking, seminar registration or form response comes in, Madoake can notify or record it in the tools you already use. Connect only the ones you need. A company admin sets them all up under Company → Notifications & integrations in the admin.
Send notifications to Slack
Madoake posts new bookings, registrations and responses to a channel you choose, using Slack's Incoming Webhooks. A webhook URL is a dedicated address for posting to that channel.
Set up in Slack (about 5 minutes)
- Open Your Apps on Slack API and choose Create New App → From scratch. Enter an app name (e.g. Madoake notifications), pick your workspace and create it.
- Open Incoming Webhooks in the left menu and turn on the switch at the top right.
- Click Add New Webhook to Workspace at the bottom, choose the channel to post to and click Allow.
- Copy the webhook URL shown (it starts with
https://hooks.slack.com/services/…).
Set up in Madoake
- In Notifications & integrations, paste the URL into the Slack field and click Save.
- Click Send test and check that the message arrives in the channel.
Some workspaces require a Slack admin to approve new apps. If so, ask your Slack admin.
Send notifications to Microsoft Teams
Madoake posts new bookings, registrations and responses to a Teams channel (the same content as Slack). You create the posting URL with Teams Workflows.
Set up in Teams
- On the channel you want to post to, open … (More options) → Workflows.
- Choose the template that receives a webhook and posts to a channel (Send webhook alerts to a channel).
- Name the workflow, confirm the team and channel to post to, and click Add workflow.
- Copy the URL shown at the end (it starts with
https://…logic.azure.com/…or…powerplatform.com/…).
Set up in Madoake
- In Notifications & integrations, paste it into the Microsoft Teams field and click Save.
- Click Send test and check that the message arrives in the channel.

Record in Notion
Madoake records each booking, seminar registration and form response as a row in a Notion database. When something is canceled, its status changes. A Notion integration works like an access pass that lets Madoake write to Notion.
Set up in Notion
- On the Notion integrations page, click New integration. Give it a name (e.g. Madoake), set the type to Internal, choose your workspace and save.
- Show the Internal Integration Secret and copy it (a string starting with
ntn_). - In Notion, open the page you want to record to, click … at the top right → Connections, and add the integration you just created.
- Copy the page URL (Share at the top right → Copy link).
Set up in Madoake
- In Notifications & integrations, enter the secret and the page URL in the Notion field and click Connect.
- Three databases, for bookings, seminar registrations and form responses, are created inside that page.
If you see an error saying the databases couldn't be created on the page, step 3 (Connections) usually hasn't been done.
Add contacts to a Brevo (email marketing) list
Madoake adds booking guests and seminar registrants to a Brevo contact list. Form respondents are added only if they checked the consent question you chose in the form's integration settings (e.g. "Send me future updates").
Set up in Brevo
- In Brevo, go to Contacts → Lists and create the list to add contacts to (e.g. Madoake registrants).
- On the Brevo API keys page, click Generate a new API key, give it a name (e.g. Madoake) and create it. Copy the key shown (it starts with
xkeysib-). The key is shown only once.
Set up in Madoake
- In Notifications & integrations, paste the API key into the Brevo field and click Save.
- Under List to add contacts to, choose the list from step 1 and click Save.
If you can't choose a list, check that the API key is correct and that the list exists in Brevo.
Register for Zoom Webinars
Madoake automatically registers seminar registrants for your Zoom Webinar and emails each of them a personal join link. After the event, it imports attendance and time attended. You need a Zoom Webinars license and admin rights on the Zoom account.
Set up in Zoom (done by a Zoom admin)
- Sign in to the Zoom App Marketplace as an admin, then choose Develop → Build App at the top right and create a Server-to-Server OAuth app. Give it a name (e.g. Madoake).
- Note the three values shown under App Credentials: Account ID, Client ID and Client Secret.
- Under Scopes, add these scopes:
- webinar:read:webinar:admin
- webinar:write:registrant:admin
- webinar:update:registrant_status:admin
- report:read:list_webinar_participants:admin
- report:read:webinar_survey:admin (to import post-webinar surveys)
- Activate the app under Activation.
Set up in Madoake
- In Notifications & integrations, enter the three values in the Zoom Webinar field and click Connect.
- When you create a webinar in Zoom, make registration required and set approval to automatic. In the seminar's session settings, choose Zoom Webinar and enter the webinar ID.
Register for Microsoft Teams webinars
Madoake automatically registers seminar registrants for your Teams webinar. Once registered, each person receives a confirmation email with a join link from Teams. After the event, Madoake imports attendance and time attended (so you can send separate follow-up emails to attendees and no-shows). You need a license that can create Teams webinars (Microsoft 365 E3/E5, Teams Premium, etc.) and Microsoft 365 admin rights.
Set up in Microsoft Entra ID (done by a Microsoft 365 admin)
- In the Microsoft Entra admin center, go to App registrations → New registration and create an app (e.g. Madoake). For the account type, Accounts in this organizational directory only is fine.
- Note the Directory (tenant) ID and Application (client) ID shown on the Overview page.
- Under Certificates & secrets, create a New client secret and note the Value shown (you can't see it again later; when it expires, create a new one and replace it).
- Under API permissions → Add a permission → Microsoft Graph → Application permissions, add these three permissions, then click Grant admin consent.
- VirtualEvent.Read.All (check webinars and import attendance)
- VirtualEventRegistration-Anon.ReadWrite.All (register registrants)
- OnlineMeetingArtifact.Read.All (import attendance)
- A Teams admin uses PowerShell (the Microsoft Teams module) to allow this app to act on behalf of the webinar organizer. Replace
<Application ID>and the organizer's email address.Connect-MicrosoftTeams New-CsApplicationAccessPolicy -Identity Madoake -AppIds "<Application ID>" -Description "Madoake" Grant-CsApplicationAccessPolicy -PolicyName Madoake -Identity "organizer@example.com"
If you have several organizers, run the third line (Grant-CsApplicationAccessPolicy) for each one, or change it toGrant-CsApplicationAccessPolicy -PolicyName Madoake -Global. It can take about 30 minutes to take effect.
Set up in Madoake
- In Notifications & integrations, enter the tenant ID, application ID and secret value in the Teams webinars field and click Connect.
- Create a webinar in Teams, turn on registration and publish it. In the seminar's session settings, choose Teams webinar, paste the webinar's registration page URL (https://events.teams.microsoft.com/event/…) and save. When you save, Madoake checks that it can read the webinar, that it's published and that the start time matches, and shows any problems on screen.
The join link is in the email Teams sends to each registrant (it isn't included in Madoake's confirmation email). If a registration is canceled, the Teams registration can't be removed automatically (a Microsoft API limitation). The registrant list will show that the Teams webinar registration failed, so remove the person from Registrants in the Teams webinar. If you set a registration limit or require approval in Teams, some registrations accepted by Madoake may not be registered in Teams.
Calendars (Google and Microsoft 365)
Calendars are connected by each host, not by the company. In the admin, go to You → Calendar and connect your Google Calendar or Microsoft 365 calendar. Once connected, only your free time becomes bookable, and when a booking comes in, an event with a meeting link (Google Meet or Teams) is added automatically.
If Google shows "Google hasn't verified this app", click Advanced, then Go to … (unsafe) to continue. Check all the calendar permission boxes before clicking Continue.
If something isn't working, let us know with the Feedback button at the bottom right of the admin.
