Terms of Service

Established: October 16, 2026 (last revised: October 20, 2026)

This English version is provided for convenience. If there is any inconsistency, the Japanese version prevails.

Article 1 (Scope)

These Terms set out the conditions for using the booking tool "Madoake" (the "Service") provided by lanitech LLC (the "Company"). Companies and organizations that have registered for the Service ("Customers"), and the members who use a Customer's admin, shall use the Service after agreeing to these Terms.

Article 2 (Registration)

  1. Customers shall register by the method specified by the Company and provide accurate information.
  2. The Company may refuse a registration if it contains false information, if the applicant has previously violated these Terms, or if the Company otherwise deems it inappropriate.

Article 3 (Account management)

  1. Customers shall, at their own responsibility, manage the adding and removing of members, the accounts members use (such as Google or Microsoft), and API keys.
  2. Any operation performed using an account or API key is deemed to have been performed by the Customer. If there is a risk of leakage, promptly take measures such as deleting the API key and contact the Company.

Article 4 (Fees and payment)

  1. The Service can be used free of charge for 14 days from registration (the "Free Trial"). After the Free Trial ends, the Service can be used on the Free plan until the Customer subscribes to a plan. The Free plan has limits on the number of booking pages and forms that accept bookings or responses, the number of bookings, registrations and responses accepted per month, and the features available; these limits are shown under "Plan & billing" in the admin.
  2. Fees are the amounts shown on the Service's home page and in the admin (excluding tax; consumption tax is charged separately).
  3. Payment shall be made by credit card. Monthly plans are billed in advance every month and annual plans every year, starting from the date of subscription. When the number of hosts changes, the difference is prorated by day.
  4. Fees already paid are non-refundable, except where required by law or where the Company is responsible.

Article 5 (Cancellation)

Customers can cancel at any time from the admin (Plan & billing). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and the Service can continue to be used until then.

Article 6 (Personal information handled by Customers)

  1. Customers obtain and use the information of guests received through bookings, registrations and forms at their own responsibility, and shall comply with their obligations under applicable laws, such as explaining the purpose of use to guests.
  2. The Company handles this information on behalf of Customers to the extent necessary to provide the Service. Details of how it is handled are set out in the Privacy Policy.
  3. The Company may view a Customer's admin to support the Service, such as responding to inquiries or investigating issues. Viewing is limited to the Company's staff, and no settings or data are changed while viewing. The date and time of viewing and the staff member are recorded.

Article 7 (Integration with external services)

The Service integrates with external services configured by the Customer, such as calendars, video conferencing, chat, email marketing and AI agents. Use of external services is subject to the terms of their respective providers, and the Company is not liable for any damage caused by the suspension of or changes to external services.

Article 8 (Prohibited conduct)

Customers and members shall not engage in any of the following conduct.

  1. Conduct that violates laws or public order and morals
  2. Impersonating another person, or registering or sending another person's personal information without their consent
  3. Using the Service to cause disadvantage to third parties, such as sending spam
  4. Placing an excessive load on the Service's servers or network, or accessing them without authorization
  5. Analyzing or copying the Service, or reselling it to third parties
  6. Any other conduct the Company deems inappropriate

Article 9 (Suspension of use)

If a Customer violates these Terms or is late in paying fees, the Company may, without prior notice, suspend use of all or part of the Service or cancel the registration.

Article 10 (Changes, interruption and termination of the Service)

  1. The Company may change the content of the Service, or temporarily interrupt it for maintenance or to respond to failures.
  2. If the Company terminates the Service, it will notify Customers at least 30 days in advance.

Article 11 (Disclaimer)

  1. The Company does not guarantee that the Service will fit any particular purpose of the Customer or that it will be free of defects.
  2. If the Company is liable to a Customer for damages, the amount is limited to the total fees paid by the Customer to the Company during the 12 months preceding the month in which the damage occurred. However, this limit does not apply in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence by the Company.

Article 12 (Changes to these Terms)

The Company may change these Terms as necessary. When it does, it will announce the revised content and its effective date on the Service in advance.

Article 13 (Governing law and jurisdiction)

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any dispute relating to the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
